So how can hypnotherapy work where diets fail?
It is simple – there is no loss or sacrifice involved (hence the title weight management not weight loss). Most of us don’t like the idea of losing something and banning certain foods just stimulates the rebel in us. I use mindfulness alongside hypnosis to change your attitude to food. It becomes something to be savoured and enjoyed as part of a full and happy life rather than something to be consumed (usually fast and without really being tasted) to comfort or punish. There are lots of reasons why we overeat (or undereat) and we can work together to replace your response to these reasons with healthier and more helpful alternatives.
