I have completed a professional masterclass on ‘Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy for Smoking Cessation’ with the UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy. This uses a whole toolbox of techniques to help those who want to give up smoking to become a non-smoker in just one session. From motivation to education to practising living as a non-smoker, this approach is much more successful than will-power alone [according to meta-analysis published by Viswesvaran & Schmidt (1992) which looked at 633 studies covering 72,000 subjects].
